Written by Lucas Foss, directed by Scott Swan. This wry and charming one-man play explores the inner dialogue of a “60 something” couch potato trying to make something more of himself. Caught between his voice of comfort and his voice of truth, he asks himself the big question: Can he find love, and still get home in time for his favourite TV shows? As he proceeds on his plodding but highly amusing journey, hazarding relationship counselling with his girlfriend, Cheryl, and coming face-to-face with his deepest fears at a men’s retreat, our very ordinary “hero” discovers his true—and not-so-ordinary—self.
