Diversity is at the core of our identity, offerings, and communities at PHT.
We believe that theatre is for everyone across all cultures, generations, abilities, and incomes and strive to ensure that broad and intersecting identities feel welcome and represented in our artistic work and facility. This includes a special focus on meaningful, decolonized partnership with Indigenous artists and community members.
We reject all forms of discrimination and harassment, and actively participate in building a community that reflects these values through our board of directors, the artists and staff we hire, as well as the artistic and community organizations we partner with as mentors, presenters, or hosts.
This process is supported by our other core values of accessibility, humanity, health and safety, and accountability when we make mistakes.
