Golden Firefly artists present The Talking Tree – an outdoor story soundscape

Trees share sounds as we stand beneath them. Leafy whispers. Cackling branches. Sweet, sweet birdsong.  And sometimes, when you listen carefully, you’ll hear unexpected stories from the heart.

Come listen to the Talking Tree on the grounds of Presentation House Theatre.  Starting June 28 and throughout the summer, when you walk beneath the Talking Tree you’ll set off Golden Firefly stories from the branches above. These original stories are narrated by the author or other Fireflies and set to specially composed music by the incomparable Matt Grinke.

This lovely outdoor sound installation will be active all summer long and is open to everyone who wants to wander in our peaceful grounds and listen.

Golden Firefly is a free Presentation House Theatre Program. Theatrical play, performance, and original storytelling for Seniors – taught by professional actors and artist instructors.
