A young girl tells her story to the walls that lock her away. With words she drives a hole into prejudices, and forges a path to dignity. Intertwining epic accounts and acrobatic feats, The Nonexistent powerfully and boldly recounts a modern-day tragedy, that of migrant children fighting to carve out a place for themselves in the sun.
A story of resilience and courage, beautifully shared through acrobatic movement theatre and live music. Together the audience and artists explore the modern calamity and complex global issues of migration and exile in this English language version of The Nonexistent.

DynamO Théâtre has been working in the Quebec youth theatre landscape for over 40 years.
With its 25 original creations performed all over the world in front of more than 1.5 million spectators, the company undeniably contributes to the renewal of the practice in theater for young audiences. Our singular approach questions, reflects, defines the art of acrobatic movement and clownish play in the theater by continuing its work with the same passion and passion as when it began in 1981.
Our working method is anchored in a scenic writing.
We search, explore and create with bodies in space, as an author does with words on a blank page. Our writing is therefore one of plateau, where our collaborators are invited throughout our creative processes. It is a perilous theatre. Over time, we have developed a physical vocabulary, a method, a language of our own that has made the company’s signature. We talk about rhythms, speeds, magnitude, fixed points, momentum, suspension, acrobatics … We are talking about movement! And yet, we are placing an ever-increasing place on dramaturgy, that of bodies as well as that of words. From the scenographic space, the scenic writing, always evolving, is refined and asserted with each new production.
We are keen to offer a bold theatre to a wide audience, children, teenagers and families, to tell them stories that will make them vibrate physically and emotionally, to reflect on the world through the prisms of movement, image and text.
