Yupi! Latin American Arts Family Festival

Get ready for a weekend full of music, movement, and colour! The Yupi! Latin American Arts Family Festival is taking over Presentation House Theatre this October. Explore the richness of Latin American culture with incredible performances, hands-on workshops, and creative activities for the whole family. Dance, drum, laugh, and learn for three joyful days, culminating in a traditional Carnaval Ball to close the weekend! (All activities are in English with Spanish and Portuguese woven throughout)

Water Words

Every drop of water tells a story. In Water Words, water connects two friends living worlds apart. Meet Mamby, whose feet burn on the hot sands of Senegal as she walks to gather water, and Hélène, whose toes tingle in winter boots in Canada’s snowy abundance. In this visually stunning production, their vast differences fuel a shared imagination. Through the magic of movement, live music, and poetic storytelling, Water Words invites you and your children into a playful world where rain, snow, and rivers come alive right before your eyes.

Where the Wild Things Are

The wild rumpus is back! Jump right in and help Max transform his bedroom into the many landscapes of his adventures. Sail along together to the land of the Wild Things! This highly interactive production is a guided play experience, adapted from the timeless classic by Maurice Sendak.

After 20 years and more than 1,000 performances all around North America, this truly is a classic piece of children’s theatre.
