Andy Toth – Host
Andy is a veteran Vancouver theatre artist originally from Hamilton, Ontario. Andy’s days are filled with meaning-making as Artistic Director of the Robert M. Leddingham School of Theatre, Music & Film at Arts Umbrella on Granville Island. He currently spends his time playing chess with his son Ben, binging Netflix with his wife Mary, and researching purpose driven decision-making and planning at Royal Roads University. His findings: doing good things for great reasons is the best way to make the season BRIGHT.
Ava Johnston – Performer
Ava Johnston is a singer and actress from Delta, BC. Her love for musical theatre started in the sixth grade and has continued since. She is currently in her first year as a musical theatre student at Arts Umbrella. She has been a part of a couple of Delta Youth Theatre shows, the most recent being The Music Man in which she played Marian. Along with musical theatre, she also plays guitar and writes. Ava loves Christmas and is super grateful to be a part of the BRIGHT performance.
Lina Wozniak – Performer
Lina Wozniak is a musical theatre actress from Surrey, BC. It is her fourth year being a student in Arts Umbrella’s musical theatre troupe program, but has been learning and creating at various locations for over 5 years. She has been apart of several productions at Arts Umbrella: The Secret Garden, The Quest and Newsies Jr. She loves all things art especially singing, acting and writing. Lina will always enjoy working and creating with others, and can’t wait to be apart of such a BRIGHT event.
Rebecca Floresco – Performer
Rebecca Floresco is singer and actor from Vancouver, BC, who is in her fourth year as a Musical Theatre student at Arts Umbrella. She also dabbles in piano and gymnastics, and is very excited to be a part of this merry production. Recently Rebecca has played Jack Kelly in Newsies, and hopes to continue pursuing Musical Theatre in the future. Rebecca is the biggest Christmas lover, and would like to thank everyone for making this show so BRIGHT.
Reina Grosch – Performer
Reina Grosch is an actor and singer based in Vancouver, BC, and is excited to join the BRIGHT Holiday Singalong! She is in her fourth year with Arts Umbrella’s Musical Theatre Troupe where she’s been able to grow her skills in acting, singing, and dancing. Next year, she plans to pursue creative writing and on-camera work. Reina loves Christmas Eve and likes to leave out a carrot for the reindeer.
Sage Collins – Performer
Sage Collins is a musical theatre student and assistant teacher at Arts Umbrella. She is incredibly excited to celebrate the season in this production. Previous credits include Marie in Cinderella and Hermes in Hadestown, but holiday shows hold a special place in Sages heart. Sage sends love to family, friends, and anyone keeping the spirit BRIGHT.
Sierra Birarda – Performer
Sierra Birarda is a singer and actor from Vancouver, British Colombia. She is studying at Vancouver Academy of Music in the Young Artist Collegiate Program for Classical Voice and Arts Umbrella in their Professional Halfday Training Program. Thank you so much for coming to support Presentation House Theatre and Arts Umbrella’s LIGHTS program. Hope you enjoy!
Kasimir MacDougall – Piano Accompanist
Kasimir MacDougall is a theatre performer and alumni of the Arts Umbrella Musical theatre program. He is currently pursuing his undergrad in theatre at Bishops University and hopes to continue creating magic on stage for the rest of his life. Recent work includes: The Musketeers, The Impossible Dream, Le Petit Prince (Bishops University), A Midsummer Nights Dream, The Importance of Being Earnest (NHTT). He hopes the show makes your holiday season a little bit BRIGHTer.
