Presentation House Theatre’s Community Clothing Swap returns just in time for the new school year! Join us this September for a fun, sustainable way to refresh your closet for the upcoming months as the leaves start to change colour. Please bring up to 15 gently used clothing items and swap them for something new-to-you. We welcome clothing for all ages, all sizes, and all genders (and Halloween costumes too, if you’re looking to lighten the load ahead of spooky season). And we will have plus size clothing available, so don’t miss out! Admission is by donation (suggested amount: $5)—give what feels right for you and help us keep these community events going strong. We hope to see you there!

HOW IT WORKS:
- Once you arrive, you will be welcomed by a staff member who will help you process your entry donation. This helps us keep these events running! We suggest a $5 donation, however, you are free to donate any dollar amount that works for you. We accept cash and card!
- We will take the clothing you wish to swap to sort. We only accept a maximum of 15 items. If you bring more than 15 items, we will politely return any additional amount back to you.
- We will put your clothing out once we have sorted them into categories of clothing. While we are doing this, you can enter our 2nd Floor Studio and begin having
a look at all the clothing. - You don’t need to bring any clothing to take some home! You can take as many items as you’d like, yes, even more than 15!
- We have lots of washrooms and mirrors where you can try on any clothing you find.
- At the end of the event, we sort through the clothing and pull any items suitable for the following season. (We do three clothing swaps a year as the seasons change!) We donate the remaining to charities in need (past include: The Harvest Project, Dress for Success and Wish Drop In).
