Pro-D Day Camps | Frequently Asked Questions

How do I get to Presentation House Theatre?

Please refer to our Getting to Presentation House Theatre page on our website. It can be found here.

Is Presentation House Theatre accessible?

Our theatre is wheelchair accessible via the ramp off 4th Street, and there is an accessible washroom located in the lobby. There are designated accessible parking spots in our parking lot in front of the 3rd Street entrance.

To view our Visual Story, please click here.

Do you have gender-neutral washrooms?

Yes, we do!

PHT has chosen to have gender-neutral washrooms that may be accessed by any person, of any sex, gender, or gender identity, for the following reasons:

Our priority of being a safe place for everyone who walks through our doors means prioritizing the safety of those who are most vulnerable. In the case of washrooms, that is trans, non-binary, and gender non-conforming people who encounter real violence in bathrooms at the highest rates.

We recognize that you cannot tell by looking at someone what their gender identity is and do not want to force anyone to “out” themselves by assigning gender or sex to washrooms.

It further supports safety by allowing a parent, guardian, or carer of any sex or gender to accompany children or those who need support into any washroom.

We feel this is an important step in fostering the safe and inclusive society we want to live in.

Should any person prefer, there is a single-user bathroom on the second floor of the building that all are welcome to use.

What is the refund policy?

Registration fees will be fully refunded for any programs that are cancelled by Presentation House Theatre.

Registration fees will be fully refunded if a participant cancels their registration more than 72 hours before the start of the program.

Registration fees will not be refunded if notice is less than 72 hours or after the program has begun.

We ask that participants do not attend if they are sick. If cancellation is due to illness, we will provide a refund of half of the registration fees.

Is food and drink provided at camp?

Parents and caregivers are responsible for supplying any snack or beverages for their child. We do have a microwave and small fridge at our theatre. We do not have a water fountain at our facility, and we ask that participants bring their own water bottle to refill.

How does drop off and pick up work?

Camp starts at 9 AM and finishes at 3 PM, with extended care available beginning at 8:30 AM and until 3:30 PM at no additional charge. Drop off and pick up will be at our 4th Street Entrance. From our parking lot, follow the concrete stairs and turn left, you will see the building entrance.

Please allow time to before 9:00 AM to check your child in.

Pick Up

You can pick up your child any time within the 3:00 – 3:30pm window. A $25 fee will be charge for any pick ups later than 3:30 PM. If you are running late or you know pick up will not work within this window, we ask you call to let us know as soon as you can.

Please make sure to bring a piece of identification with your photo and name on it as we do not let children leave with anyone who is not on the “Approved for Pickup” list.

My child is not in the age range of the program, can they still register?

We ask that you do not register your child for a program unless they are within the specified age range. The age ranges for each program are carefully thought out and the activities and material are specifically selected to be appropriate for the chosen ages.

Sometimes we are able to accommodate children who are within a few months of the age range. In these instances, please contact us before registering.
