A Blackout Theater Production presented by Presentation House Theatre

A single mother from Iran immigrates to Canada with her child. She faces the challenges met by many newcomers in a new country. But her story goes in an unexpected direction when she learns that her child is on the Autism spectrum.

This new work by Blackout Theater Production is performed in English.

The first phase of this project was performed on May 31,2019 for 30 minutes to receive audiences’ feedback. The full version was initially scheduled to be performed on April 28 to May 02, 2020 at Presentation House Theatre(PHT). However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it was postponed. Currently, Zoning Out is scheduled for November 13-15, 2020 with limited capacity (30 audiences each night) at Presentation House Theatre and livestreamed via Side Door Access on November 15, 2020.
