PHT’s really funny fundraiser is back! Get ready to laugh until your sides ache and support a great cause at the same time! Join us for a night of uproarious comedy and charitable giving at our 8th Annual All-Star Stand-Up Comedy Night.

Featuring familiar and fresh faces, you might recognize these comedians from CBC Radio’s The Debaters and hit comedy festivals across Canada such as Just for Laughs and Winnipeg Comedy Festival — to name a few!

Hosted by the ever-fabulous Erica Sigurdson, returning to PHT with a bright new line-up of rib-tickling talent including Melanie Rose, Bradley Fung, Ryan Williams, and a five-minute set from newcomer Monique Bellamy.

Erica Sigurdson

Vancouver-based Erica Sigurdson has been delighting audiences across Canada and beyond for close to two decades. Having been described as a ‘sugar-coated razor blade’ she is equal parts charming and sardonic with her take on the world around her. She has been featured over 50 times on the hit show The Debaters on CBC Radio, performed at every major comedy festival in Canada as well as performed in Singapore, The Philippines, Thailand, Afghanistan and Iceland. She is also an advocate for Type 1 diabetes awareness, having lived with Type 1 since the age of 10.

Melanie Rose

Melanie Rose is a bright pink ray of sunshine. She’s known for her sharp wit, relatable stories and great crowd work, which is making her a rising star in the world of comedy. Melanie was born and raised in Richmond, BC, she’s the oldest of four, a grade 12 graduate, class of 1984. Now, she’s over 50 and is making her dreams come true by telling jokes wherever she can. In addition to working as a comedian, she has worked with the homeless community for almost 10 years and is an advocate for mental health, she has produced her own show called Heavy Mental Comedy. Melanie uses her humour to raise awareness about the importance of seeking help for mental health and ending the stigma it can bring.

Bradley Fung

Taking inspiration from his experiences growing up in Vancouver as a Chinese Canadian and a failed child actor, Bradley has performed stand-up since 2018. He is the co-producer of Buds and Suds, a monthly comedy showcase, and he has been featured in the Just for Laughs Vancouver Festival, and on Season 2 of YVR Funny, a stand-up series funded by Telus Storyhive.

Ryan Williams

Ryan Williams is one of Canada’s most exciting comics. You do not want to miss his charisma, energy or sharp material. Ryan has appeared on CBC Radio’s The Debaters, Winnipeg Comedy Festival, JFL Northwest, Grindstone Comedy Festival, Kam Comedy Festival and Just For Laughs 42. Williams was a finalist in Sirius XM’s Canada’s Top Comic and is featured on JFL Northwest’s Best of the West compilation album.

Monique Bellamy

Monique Bellamy is Fraser Valley’s first Female Indo-Fijian Comedian, Storyteller, Inspirational Speaker, and whale watching enthusiast. Monique’s musings on #momlife, growing up Indian, and confessions of a plus-size model, have earned her 1st place in the Fraser Valley Comedy Competition, 3rd place winner at BC’s funniest Female Competition 2018 and landed her various stages around the comedy circuit as well as community events.
