AN EXCITING MAD-DASH IMMERSIVE THEATRE EVENT OF MICRO PERFORMANCES IN A ONE-DAY-ONLY VENUE TAKE-OVER OF PRESENTATION HOUSE THEATRE.

Experience each unique performance in whatever order you choose and journey into 10 mini-worlds — from one-on-one encounters to interactive installations to immersive walkabouts.  In between, gather with other guests in our central hub to drink, meet and socialize.

In this immersive, roaming experience, audiences can see up to four shows in an hour.

HIVE 2019 takes its name from the incredibly successful HIVE events first produced in 2006 by the collective Progress Lab, with 12 of BC’s most innovative, independent theatre companies.  After five successful years in Vancouver, HIVE evolved into a second iteration with a series of emerging theatre companies. Now, in its third incarnation, HIVE stays true to its original spirit of process-oriented work, collaboration and community building.

ACCESSIBILITY
Presentation House Theatre is easily accessible by transit and is just a short Seabus ride from downtown Vancouver. The 1st and 2nd floor of Presentation House Theatre is wheelchair accessible. On-site ushers will help audiences navigate the venue.
